Jewls What to Wear Valentine's Day Guide

So to finish out our Valentine's Day Guide deliciousness, I have decided to inspire you girlies with three drastically different V-day looks. One for three totally different girls. Now as far as I go, I could totally rock all three of these any day of the week, but I am all over the map like that with my fashion taste!!!  Check out my three looks below as I guide you through each ensemble that I have created for each girl!  Hopefully this will help inspire you towards the perfect V-day ensemble while you are shopping this weekend! Mwa! ;)

For my Experimental Fashionista Vday Girl:

First, I created an ensemble that is for our whimsical, free spirited, fashion forward girl. A girl who takes risks, but still likes to keep it tasteful and a tad feminine. I for one, am in the mood for this particular get up this Valentine's Day. Chiffon Maxi Skirts and Chloe's new Mary Janes are totally suiting my mood right now! Also, the Proenza necklace (gasp), the Emptyeyes bracelet, and the two crystal ring sets are literally muuuuurdering me. I really enjoy this outfit too because you will look so unbelievably chic and unique next to every other girl in a typical cheap looking red cocktail dress (Yawn! Sigh. Predictable. Boooring.)  So I vote for this one. ;)

For My Sweet Fashionista Vday Girl:

Secondly, I created a conservative sweet girl look. This is for the girl that has herself together, knows how to dress, and draw attention to herself without needing to go over the top. I imagine a girl with loads of confidence and a quiet swagger wearing this ensemble. I had to throw this look in the bunch because I toooootally have those days where I want to dress super cute and innocent and how much more "come hither" can this dress get? So covering and sensual at the same time! I love it! It is very old school elegant, yet modern and fun with the bow and the bubble hem. Carven makes the most incredible pieces, I swear. I picked through a bunch at Barney's last week and was just drooling. The Nicholas Kirkwood pumps were just too spot on not to toss in and they strangely belong with this dress! This girl would have to be pretty self assured to rock these printed pumps as they are definitely a statement. Oh wait! Can we talk about the Damaris Bra real quick??? It is a halter that crosses in the front!!! Beyond different and so sexy on! It is the perfect little surprise since this dress has a high neck. Adore!  ;)

For My Anti-Love Fashionista Vday Girl:

Lastly, I created this ensemble for the girl who wants to say to everyone on Valentines Day: "I'm hot, I'm single, I'm alone and love it. I have no obligation to anyone and yeah go ahead and stare at me cause my outfit is SICK!"  I have for suuuuure had those V-days and this outfit was not far off from the look I was rocking! You have to kind of respect those girls and love that they can express themselves through this kind of style. Hell, I still dress like this 70% of the time and am engaged now, so what does that say? Bahaha! I will never give up my crazy leather pants and my ridiculously cropped crop tops!!! Nothing is more fun and rebellious then throwing them on and sticking out like a sore thumb! Who wants to blend in anyway? I am obsessed with every part of this outfit. Everything from The Bullet Paneled Leggings, the Pamela Love Rings, the kick ass Robert Clergerie Wedges to the Venessa Arizaga Bracelets. Just slay me!!! Through the accessories in this outfit, you can still read that this girl is warm at heart, playful, open, and not just completely goth. That's the best part! This look is mysterious, but still approachable while attracting a strong confident guy that will let you be who you want! That's what I ended up with and I live for it! ;)

I Live For It Valentine's Day Gift Guide- Men's Edition

As Valentine's Day looms closer and closer, every girl is faced with the daunting task of finding something that isn't too cheesy for her man.  Liza and I are both with edgier guys as we have always shied away from the overly preppy J Crew look. With that being said, finding interesting garbs for our boys can sometimes be difficult. Below I have collected a few of my favorite looks and gifts for the upcoming holiday! Hope you enjoy browsing!

Petar Petrov Leonid Zip Hoodie. This is so hot. I love it. I know my man would adore this. He lives in hoodies and likes it when he finds ones where the construction is a little off and different. This Petar is a perfect example! Agh, I might need to scoop this up for him especially now that it is on sale from $405 to $203. Available here.
Art of Shaving Lavender Kit. Ok, I don't know if any of you ladies have smelled these products, but they are unreal! So yummy to snuggle up to in your man's neck at the end of the day! Available here for $25!
Aquiesse Boardwalk Candle. John and I go for monthly runs to Candle Delirium over on Santa Monica Blvd in West Hollywood and literally blow hundreds of dollars on our favorite candles. They are like products to us. Our house always smells so good though and it's so worth it! His ABSOLUTE favorite is this boardwalk scent. He lights it at his desk everyday and itt burns for 100 hours so you really get your money's worth! Available here for $36.
Kris Van Assche Knit Beanie. As we know, edgy boys are always on a hunt for the perfect saggy black beanie for those bad hair days. Thick knits don't work on boys as they look too poofy. This one is perfection and I love the side horizontal knitting. Very unique! It's $155, but considering how much my man throws his on, I wouldn't mind springing for this. Call me crazy, but it's hard to find the right one!!! Available here.
Bulgari Aqua Cologne. Alright, alright... this may be my favorite just cause John wears it... but I swear this is the best smelling cologne ever. I have chronic migraines and hate pretty much every scent cause they trigger my headaches (boo), so to find a light fresh clean scent is like finding gold to me! Available here for $68.
Rochas Cologne. This is what Liza's man, Angel wears. It's more of a sweet scent. She loves it of course, but at least we both can refer these scents with our personal experience with them! Available here for $44.
Chrishaban Triangle Necklace. Ahhh, now onto men's jewelry. This is oh so hard to find. I feel like everything is either blinged out or Harley Davidson motorcycle looking.  There is rarely an in between that is affordable. John loves to layer silver pieces with cool trinkets, but is very picky as men's jewelry is so personal and more of statement than women's. I totally get that. So here I found this awesome piece that I will definitely be scooping up for him! So fab! Available here for $88.
Cardboard Robot Bullet Necklace. This is bad ass and only $15 dollars!!! Love it!  Available here.
EP Carter Sunglasses. With most guys... sunglasses end up getting sat on in the car. Hahahaha. I picked these because they are chic, but super cheap.  That way if your man sits on them, you don't end up in an argument! Available here for $10.
Comune Black zip wallet. I love this for a less preppy choice and it won't break your bank. Available here for $32.
Kris Van Assche High Tops. John and pretty much most of my closest guy friends rock dope high tops. These are a nice high end variation on the Nike Dunk. I am sort of obsessed and they're on sale from $476 to $196!!! Available here.

I Live For It Valentine's Day Gift Guide

Well everyone, now that Valentine's Day is closing in, I thought I'd gather up some gift ideas, whether it be for your someone special, your sister, or even your best friend. I have always loved this holiday since I was young. Getting a little something from my mom and trading valentines in the classroom could not be more exciting... AND you don't need a boyfriend or girlfriend to participate! As long as you love someone, that is all that matters. Check out I Live For It's FIRST Valentine's Day Gift Guide below and don't forget to stay tuned for a special men's gift guide by Jewls tomorrow. XO, Liza

In God We Trust "Best F*ckin Friends" Necklaces- Is this not the cutest and funniest thing you have ever seen? I found this on Bonadrag.com a while back, but have always kept it in mind as a gift idea for my best friend... Whoops! Guess I just gave it away! Haha! Available at Bonadrag.com here for $180. Add $20 more for sterling silver.
Urban Outfitters Heart Tights-  Jewls and I both have these and they are darling paired with anything. A perfect gift for that gal pal of yours that wouldn't be caught dead in trousers. Available at Urban Outfitters for $14.

Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony Barton Perreira Candy Gold Sunglasses- Well these aren't your typical heart sunglasses, are they? I kind of can't take how adorable these are! Such an original idea. Available here at Opening Ceremony for $405.
RGB Nail Polish in Pink- Pink, but not your ordinary Pink! This color may be super bright, but it definitely brought out my girly side when I picked it up last week at Hilary Rush in LA. I love it for a change, as everyone is wearing darker shades lately. Available at RGB Cosmetics for $14 a bottle.
All for the Mountain "Hers" Heart Necklace- Jewls did a post on this fabulous jewelry line a month ago (see here), so I just HAD to add it to the gift guide. If you look closely, you'll notice the snake design in the middle, as well as the snake clasp! SO cool. Available here at Bonadrag.com for $250.
Comme des Garcons High-Top Canvas Sneakers- High Tops designed by one of my all time favorites? Of course! So simple, yet so easy to throw on when your running out the door. Available at Saks for $105.
Bath Bombs by Lush- I am THE biggest bath person, so there is nothing more that I would love then to receive these amazing bath bombs from Lush, an incredible handmade cosmetics line. These little balls are so unique. Some even contain flower petals and other cute surprises that emerge as they fizz away. My favorite is the "Sex Bomb" (shown above). Shaped as a rose and made with Jasmine and Soya milk leave your skin feeling soft and lightly scented. Available at Lush for $6.45.

Hanky Panky Mini Hearts Signature Lace Bralette- I swear by Hanky Panky's bralettes. They are the most comfortable bras that are not only no fuss, but sexy too. This one is particularly festive for the upcoming holiday! Available here at Shopbop.com for $43.
Wilfox "I Love You" Sweatshirt- Anyone that reads "I Live For It" knows Jewls and I absolutely adore Wildfox. They have the best comfy worn in sweatshirts, t-shirts, and tanks with the cutest prints. I've worn mine to death! Available here ASOS.com for $170.
Stella McCartney Valentines Embroidered Briefs- Last but not least, the sweetest undies out there for Valentine's Day! Made of silk and cotton, these briefs have a white lace trim that is too cute to resist. Obsessed. Available here at Net-a-Porter.com for $55.
