Shoot of the Day: "High Flying Bird" (Vogue Russia, April)

Well unfortunately we haven't had much of a spring here in Chicago. We had a bunch of super warm days last week, but a horribly rainy and chilly weekend. :( Today was sunny though, so I'm hoping it's gonna warm up more and soon enough, it will be summertime! Anyways, to get you guys in a "springy" mood, I thought this shoot from April's issue of Vogue Russia was the perfect choice. Shot by Ellen Von Unwerth and styled by Katerina Mukhina, the editorial features haute couture from the collections of Armani Prive, Valentino, and Givenchy. Gooorgeous, right? Love it! Shoot of the Day: Perfect Spring/Summer Whites

I crave "all white" ensembles when it starts to get warm out. Well, I live in Los Angeles so that's all the time I guess, but don't let the weather fool you out here. It is seriously chilly at night until we officially hit spring. I love nothing more than laying out by the pool all day, taking a quick shower, braiding my hair all the way around my head, rubbing lotion all over myself, and wearing a loose fitting head to toe white ensemble to juxtapose my newly sun kissed skin. I mean, what is sexier than that? This shoot for Elle UK this month shows exactly what I am talking about and Vanessa Hegelmaier is one of my favorite models. Isn't she stunning? I love how Matthias Vriens-McGrath shot her with her hair messy and hardly any make-up on. Perfection. Mascara and lip gloss, baby... That's all ya need with a light tan! Spring, here I come! Shoot of the Day: Lindsey Wixson & Hailey Clauson for Vogue China

I just came across this amazing editorial from Vogue China and immediately had to throw it up here on the blog to share it with you all. Lindsey and Hailey could not look more adorable. Photographer Willy Vanderperre captures the girls donning some of my favorite pieces from Marni, Proenza Schouler, and Jil Sander. Nicoletta Santoro's styling is spot on in a youthful way to play dress up with this year's fabulous garbs for spring. Drool, drool, drool. I sort of just wanted to cry when I flipped through it all! Everything from the hair, the make-up, to the adorable little socks they wear... I honestly think that this shoot is perfection in reference to how I want to be dressing for spring! I am so inspired! Fabulous skirts and knee socks... here I come!!! Happy Friday guys! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

The socks and those shoes are utter perfection. Especially on the right. I think I could manage to skate board in those!

OK, guys. This is my favorite look from the shoot. Can we talk about it please? I seriously need to commiserate over this one. Agh! The blouse and that skirt is the most perfectly executed combination of innocent and sexy if I've ever seen it! And the buttons?! Ohhhhhh.

The socks and shoes from Prada mixed in here are killer. All the colors thrown in together is the most beautiful clash ever! I am also loving the little juvenile ponytails. Ha!

Liza would kill this dress. She would even take the bear. I could totally see her wearing this. I love how Nicoletta has paired the little knickers underneath as well. Again, the youthful look is really fun to play around with. You could pair it with opaque tights and a tall pump for night time and completely transform this look too! So versatile!

My second favorite. The texture of this skirt is literally to die for. The cardigan is hands down one of the most beautiful I have seen in a long time! The collar is just stunning. So elegant.

Crisp white collared shirt, check. Floral poofy skirt, check. Purple knee high socks, check. Stick straight blond high ponytail with a bow, check. I have all of these!!! Ha, I will fooooor suuuuure be emulating this look immediately.

Shoot of the Day: Patricia Van Der Vliet for Vogue UK

Sort of dying over this shoot. Patricia has such a fresh look and Lucinda Chambers knocked it out of the ball park with her styling on this one. I have always loved her work, but this is honestly killer.  For fun inspiration and new ways to throw some girly looks together, check out how Lucinda has layered these exquisite pieces below. I adore how she has layered blouses under these dresses with heavy necklaces, darling little socks with the platform mary janes, and even two slips at once throughout this shoot. It's nice to have other options beyond just belting a boring sundress. ;) Happy Monday cuties!

Watch out Dakota... your little sister is sneaking up on you and she is beyond adorable. I am loving this shoot Elle Fanning did for Interview Magazine. So fresh and youthful... after all, she is ONLY 12? Wait what? No honestly, I thought she had to be oh 15 or 16. Nope, not even a teenager yet. Stunning though! I love the simple black lashes on her doe eyes and the coiled up ballerina bun on her head. And can we talk about that dress in the third picture? Gorgeous! XO, Liza

Ummm, this shoot is my new obsession. Wow. Every picture is perfection. Zara Merkin, who styled this entire spread, is one of the most popular and refined stylists in New Zealand. Oh and also the designer for the womenswear of Stolen Girlfriends Club?! No wonder this is amazing! Google her and look at her other shoots. They are pretty awesome. XO, Liza

This shoot adequately sums up my mood today. You really can't beat having some fantastic lingerie on accompanied by a "way too big for you" voluminous wooly mammoth coat. There is something so Elizabeth Taylor and epic about the look. I live for it.

This shot is so stunning. I really can't stand it. The lighting, the luggage, the headband, her leg and the pump. So gorgeous.

I love her hair all messed up and dangling in her face and don't EVEN get me started on how stunning the lingerie is in this shot. Ohhhhhh... I need it all to breathe.

Clean, fresh, and she literally has cleaning supply in her skirt.

Gluttony in a kick ass fur. Amazing.
