Lingerie Designer Spotlight: Undrest

I am the BIGGEST lingerie girl. I am never one to skimp when it comes to bras, underwear, nighties, boyshorts, etc. I like my undergarments girly and sexy, yet comfortable. Comfort is key! None of that underwire or cheap fabric for me. Not to mention I find it very important to look your best, day AND night! ;) That being said, I just had to do a post on my latest lingerie designer crush. Maria Paz Navales launched her label, Undrest, in 2007 out of Los Angeles, California. Her first season consisted of a collection made from Suprima cotton, but later turned into high-end fine lingerie. Maria even travels to France, Italy, and Spain to find the perfect cottons and fabric for her brand. Now not only does she design lingerie, but swimwear and a ready-to-wear line too! With two stores in California, one on Robertson in LA and the other in Venice Beach, Undrest has become one of the most popular quality driven boutique esque lingerie labels. Right up my alley! Check out some of my favorite Undrest pieces below. I hope you guys love this line as much as I do! XO, Liza

Alex Bralette- This is a no brainer for me. So sexy and sweet. I would wear this baby to death. Available here on the Undrest's website for $115.

Signature Amelie Halter Bralette- And they just keep getting cuter and cuter, right? I adore this one, since you can either tie it on the shoulders or into a halter! Genius. Buy it here on SALE for $33-49.

Handknit Ruffle Bralette- I think this is my fave out of the bunch of bralettes. I love love love anything handknit or crocheted, especially with lingerie and this one comes in first place for me. $83 on Undrest.com
Nicolette Bloomer Shorts- Oh how I love bloomers. Whether they are strictly for the bedroom or wearable with tights and flats, I really can't get enough. These I would definitely add to my collection. $95 a pair on Undrest.com.

Ruffle Bodysuit- Be still my heart... this is my new obsession. I WILL have this for summer. Leotards and bodysuits are my go-to's for the warm weather and when pairing them with jean shorts or skinny jeans, I never get sick of them. Undrest truly won me over when I saw this the other day. Gorgeous! Buy it on Shopbop for $174.

This print is so darn cute!
 Voila! A perfect summer outfit.
Sophia Hooded Robe- I have always been a robe kind of gal... same with Jewls. Although this one isn't heavy and fluffy like most robes we are used to, it is indeed perfect for when the weather begins to warm up. Lightweight and absolutely adorable. Oh and it's hooded? SOLD! Available here for $124.

Shoot of the Day: Perfect Spring/Summer Whites

I crave "all white" ensembles when it starts to get warm out. Well, I live in Los Angeles so that's all the time I guess, but don't let the weather fool you out here. It is seriously chilly at night until we officially hit spring. I love nothing more than laying out by the pool all day, taking a quick shower, braiding my hair all the way around my head, rubbing lotion all over myself, and wearing a loose fitting head to toe white ensemble to juxtapose my newly sun kissed skin. I mean, what is sexier than that? This shoot for Elle UK this month shows exactly what I am talking about and Vanessa Hegelmaier is one of my favorite models. Isn't she stunning? I love how Matthias Vriens-McGrath shot her with her hair messy and hardly any make-up on. Perfection. Mascara and lip gloss, baby... That's all ya need with a light tan! Spring, here I come! Happy Monday darlings! I hope you all had a fantastic weekend!

Item of the Day: Seneca Rising Green Cut Out Shorts

Haven't done an "Item of the Day" in a while now, so when I saw these Seneca Rising shorts this morning on Pixie Market's site, I instantly knew they were perfect to post! Everything about these are great... the color, the material, the little cut outs on the side, the elastic back. How darling? And at $126, they are a steal. I would totally dress these up or down, pairing them with a white sheer collared shirt and Lanvin flats for daytime or a slinky Kain-like tank tucked in with sky high wedges for night. Done and done. I have a feeling these little shorties are gonna be gone in a flash. Better grab them while you can! Well it's the weekend everyone! Hope you all have some fun things planned! XO, Liza

Spring Handbags

I have decided that I am due for a new handbag. I have worn all my Balenciagas slam out. My Givenchy needs a good vacay at the dry cleaners and my Costume National and Chanel are falling apart. What can I say... I am really hard on my bags and while I have been bingeing on my beautiful light blue embellished Calleen Cordero, I am just flat out in the mood for a new one! The less in your face "brand label-y" as Lize and I say, the better! That is how we like em'.  I choose my handbags like I choose my men... very carefully!  To be honest, I really have not loved a bag for a few seasons now, but this spring many are catching my eye. I have selected my top favorites to share with you all. Hopefully you guys can help me chose which one to get!  Hope you're all having a good week so far! I am sooo ready for the weekend! I need a date with a cabana on the beach and a bloody mary! I hope the weather is gonna be nice! Kisses!

Calleen Cordero Ago Painted Tote in Olive Rodeo, $659. Ok, so far this is my top pick. What do you guys think? Agh, she is so gorgeous and would be so fun with all my dresses for spring and summer! I am craving something a little more natural and urban these days.

Alexander Wang Jade Stingray Wristlet Bag, $795. A little impractical for the price, I know. It would be so sick with all my spring ensembles though! Especially for nights out when I don't want to carry a huge bag! Eek! I might have to wait on this one...
Jerome Dreyfuss Billy Handbag, $886. Ok, for those of you who are not familiar with Jerome, let me tell you that they are the SOFTEST handbags on planet earth. Lize and I have been in love with them since we discovered them at Hejfina in Wicker Park way back in, gosh, 05'? Crazy! They are the best and orange is one of my favorite colors. Bright colored bags are in this season so this really would be unique!

Alexander Wang Marion Mini Flap Bag, $650. Perfect for every night out. Enough said.
Thomas IV Joanie Bucket Bag, $495. I am loving this line and it's also way more affordable! This is such a Coachella bag!

Alexander Wang Marti Backback, $850. I know these are getting a little over-promoted but I really do love how this can be worn both ways. I feel like you wouldn't see this color on everyone either. It's gorgeous and so different! I would wear this bag forever. It's such a good casual everyday bag and would be fabulous for travel too!

The perfect size!

Givenchy Small Pandora Textured Messenger, $1770. So expensive, I know... but I have worn my other Givenchy to death. They are kind of an investment. Barney's won't let you drag the images off their website so this was the only one I could find of the exact color I want (excuse that ugly text on the bottom). Ohhh, this one hurts me... but it may need to be a Christmas present. Mom, I hope you're reading this. Hint, hint.

Lanvin Amalia Quilted Cabas Tote, $1490. I want to get dressed in an exquisite lace dress, wear an absurdly huge hat, and go to a tea room with Lize carrying this bag. It's so lovely.
Proenza Schoulder Medium Colombian Mochilla Bag, $1825. I know this one is old news, but I never got over this bag. I still have dreams about it. Every time I walk into Opening Ceremony and see it hanging up on the perfect wall displayed next to all of it's brother and sister handbags, I just want to start crying. It needs to come home with me one day. It wants me to be it's mother.
Rag & Bone Day Pack, $295. Last but not least... why can't I be cute when I go hiking with my man? If he is insists that I become more outdoorsy (whatever that means), then I will be carrying Rag & Bone... not North Face or whatever ugly crap comes out of that godforsaken store called REI. Haha. This backpack is the one! I'll probably be able to fit one string cheese in this thing, but who cares. It's sick.

Alright, that's it guys. Let the votes come in! Which one is your favorite? Help me decide!

PS: I'm glad you agree with my picks, Shani! Xoxo's to Refinery29 for making us a "Top 5 Things To Know This AM" today.

Bathing Beauties

Ok girls... swimsuit season is just around the corner! Personally, I cannot wait. There is nothing more that I love then sitting by the pool or on the sand, listening to my iPod while devouring a girly beach read or the latest issue of Elle. THE most important part though is being decked in the perfect summer bikini, right? I think so! So many amazing swimsuits have been popping up left and right online and in stores and I have finally gathered together some of my top picks. From Topshop to Eres, there is most definitely a suit for everyone! Check them out below! Happy Monday! XO, Liza

Miu Miu Frilled Triangle Bikini- Agh! Miu Miu makes swimwear now? I am in love with this one! The color, the sweet frills outlining the bust and bottom? So simple, yet sweet. Available here for $245.

Agent Provocateur Amylee Printed Bikini Top and Briefs- Had no idea Agent Provocateur did swimsuits... and of course they are nothing but AMAZING. Their lingerie is absolutely stunning and this particular suit kills me! I NEED it for this summer! The print on it is too cute. I do love that the pieces are sold separate though, as I would definitely wear the bandeau with a solid color bottom. Buy the top here for $180 and the bottoms here for $140.

Topshop Multi Colored Paisley Bikini- Simply darling. Enough said. Available at Topshop for $55. What a bargain!

Missoni Mare Patchwork Zigzag String Bikini- I cannot recommend a Missoni bikini enough. Yes they are super expensive, but I definitely consider it a summer investment because I have worn mine to death! They are so flattering and beyond sexy. I am kind of addicted to them... This one is gorgeous. Buy it at Intermix for $495.

Mara Hoffman Solid Ruffle Bustier Bikini- A girl can never go wrong with a black bikini and this one seems like the perfect one to me! Adorable. Get it at Shopbop for $200.

Eres Show Obscur Bikini- Another investment bikini... Hahahaha! I have been crushing on Eres swimsuits for a while now, so I think it might be the time to bite the bullet and get one already! I loooove this color! Available at Nancy Meyer for $360.

VPL Swimsuit- I had to throw in a funky one-piece in the mix and this one was an obvious give in for me. I love it soooo much. I am not sure about the tan lines it would give me, but I would definitely be the most stylish one on the beach! Buy it here for $175.

Tori Praver Floral Rush Bikini Top and Bottoms- Last but not least! How precious is this one? I adore the high waisted bottoms... so retro. Oh and not to mention it is reversible! Perfect! Available at Anthropologie, $98 for the top and $98 for the bottoms.

Fashion Event: Lucky Shops

Last year Lucky Magazine launched Lucky Shops and hosted more than 60 designers at their massive event in NYC. Who says New York City gets to have all the best fashion events? Well, this year Lucky Shops decided to pay my city a visit. Hooray! Sunny Los Angeles got to have a go at Lucky Shops yesterday and they definitely did not disappoint. I popped into Siren Studios around the corner from my house here in Hollywood to see tons of fabulous designer booths, both high end and local. Most prices were slashed to 40-70% off. Let's just say it was REALLY hard to keep my credit card in my pants. I was incredibly controlled!

My one and only purchase was at Luv Aj's pop up booth.  I have adored the jewelry of 23 year old designer, Amanda Thomas, since she started. I got to chat with her for a while and trade stories on how we are both addicted to studded shoes. I grabbed her Spike ID Bracelet (pictured below) and the Spike Knucklebuster Ring. They haven't come off my body since yesterday. I'm a tad obsessed. To see more of her rad designs, go to her website, LuvAj.com.  All in all, I would say the event was pretty fantastic! Well, I'm off to snuggle on the couch with John and the kitties for a while. I need to decide if I am going out tonight or not! Ahhh... to get dressed or to stay in my pajamas! Decisions, decisions. Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! Kisses!

A shot from the side of Siren Studios from the valet. I had to dump my car somewhere and I was way too lazy to find a meter on Sunset Blvd! Ugh!
"Your child calls the nanny mom". Incredible. I died laughing when I saw this.
Genetic Denim, DL1961, James Jeans, Joe's Jeans, AG. Take your pick. It was like a candy store.
Local handbag and clutch designer, Clare Vivier, had a little pop up booth. Her bags literally feel like Bottega Veneta. Soft like butter. See more of her darling designs here, SeeVivier.com. These were really hard to resist. I wanted five of them!
Cosabella lingerie. I mean..... I wanted to take all of it home. The colors, so scrumptious, fun and sexy all at the same time! I live for it.
Rebecca Minkoff. Ok, so tell me this doesn't just depress you. I want a closet that looks like this! All of these bags are killer cute. I have a little green one that I carry for nights out all the time.  That little blue one that the girl is checking out is the one I have in green.... but that color blue is to DIE FOR for spring!! Ekkk!

Oh, did I mention they had flowing cocktails and a DJ on their roof? Delicious.
I think I can see my house! Ahhh... gorgeous day.
Havaianas darling little booth complete with fruit!
Shareen Vintage came ready to knock every one on their butts with some amazing little dresses. Their selection never fails me.
This little baby doll dress killed me! How cute is it? I am addicted to baby doll dresses like crack. I have 13920943.
Winter Kate and House of Harlow.
The long dress at the very end was really gorgeous! I gotta give it to Nicole! Bravo!
Truly cute shades and shoes! I had not seen a lot of Nicole's line in person as most of it is sold online on shopbop and revolve clothing, but I was surprised! It really is darling!
 Luv Aj Jewelry Booth.
I may need to order those spiked cuffs in Amanda's lookbook too. Ah, I just want it all!
The Spike ID Bracelet I couldn't resist snatchin' up!
 Luv Aj designer, Amanda Thomas.
I want to put my groceries in these bags from now on! Bahaha!
