Jewls Spring Wish List from Bonadrag.com

With spring in full swing, online shopping is getting insanely hard to resist. I have been "attempting" to save my money lately and bonadrag.com is making it so hard for me! I literally could buy everything off of that site right now. It's pretty much Liza's and my first web stop for all things fashion. Being one of the most versatile sites for cult fashionistas, it's easy to find designers that are up-and-coming and still a little under the radar. Bonadrag has the most brilliant mix of everything. Discovering a couple of new items this morning sent me over the edge, so I decided to commiserate with you guys by creating a wish list.  This way we can "oohh" and "ahh" over each item with each other! My misery needs company! Well, I am off to shlep around in the hills on this rainy day in LA! Hope you're all having a wonderful Monday!

Shakuhachi Black Lace Tiered Maxi Dress, $286. Um, I might be me more obsessed just because Bambi is wearing this dress and I love her, but honestly this dress is so sexy and fun for spring/summer. It could go from day to night so effortlessly. I must scoop this!
I LOVE THE BODICE!!! Can't take it.
I love that it just shows tiny peeks of the leg. Not too revealing. Definitely very me.
AESA Brass Riband Ribbon Ring, $280. I would wear this ring everyday with everything. End of story. It's sick. Such a gorgeous take on the knuckle ring. I have thousands and now I want to throw them all out and just own this one!!!
Maniamania afterlife earrings, $190. I love how these earrings are brass and silver. It would allow me to wear them with pretty much everything in my wardrobe. I also adore how organic the stone is. I must accrue these at some point this season. Gah, this list hurts!
Pamela Love Dagger Rosary Necklace, $207. OK, a little morbid maybe, but I live for this piece. Pamela Love kills me every time and I have wanted this necklace forever. I would layer it with everything. I would just have to try not to stab myself!!!
Maniamania Bronze Perception Eye Ring, $280. Alright, I know I have linked up a lot of jewelry here... but those of you who know me, know that I layer and stack looooads of jewelry all over myself. Ha! So a girls gotta keep her collection goin'! This ring though I must say is at the top of my very long accessory "must have" list right now. Look at it! Look at the engravings! The stone! Omg, I can't get enough! I will own this gorgeous ring shortly!
Osborn Floral Velvet Booties, $106. These are the cutest things I have ever seen. I have had a serious love affair going on with all shoes by Osborn for a while now. See my old post on the background of Osborn shoes and other adorable patterns here. With floral taking over this season in combination with not wanting to let go of my "crushed velvet fever", I don't think I could have dreamed up a more adorable daytime shoe. With tights, a skirt, and a little silk blouse with a peter pan collar? Omg, stop it. Obsessed.

Best Dressed of the Week: Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen

Haven't done a "Best Dressed of the Week" in a while, so when I saw this picture of the Olsens, I figured it was a perfect opportunity for it. WOW is all I can say because the girls look AMAZING! I know this photo has probably been on a million blogs the past few days, but I couldn't resist posting it. Ashley, wearing a suit by The Row, looked perfectly polished and chic. I love the sophisticated look on her... she definitely pulls it off the best. Her hair and make-up too are stunning. MK, in a blazer and blouse also by The Row, looked classy, but with more of an edge. I especially love her fabulous Balenciaga belt and Prada clutch. A+'s to them both! Hope you guys all have a wonderful weekend! XO, Liza

"I Live For It" is Published on That's So New York Website

Hey lovers. Liza and I have both been asked to contribute to the fashion website,  That's So New York on a regular basis. We are obviously popping with ideas so when the creator and editor contacted us, we said... "Sure, why not!"  You can think of it as an extension of our blog voices in a more formal setting.  Today the editor of TSNewYork published my "Look of the Day" article on Elena Perminova arriving at the Viktor and Rolf show during Paris Fashion Week in an amazing white tuxedo dress. See here. I have had an ongoing love affair with Elena's wardrobe choices for a long long time now! See my old street style spotlight post on this experimental Russian beauty here for more amazing ensembles!  Hope you all are doing fabulous and I hope you enjoy my article over at TSNewYork today.

An Ode to My Birthday: Charlotte Free and Pink Hair

Ahhhh, pink hair. There is something so rebellious and delicious about the color. I realize that there may be a rare few of you that have tried it and trust me, I never thought I would. But just a couple pieces here and there can actually be quite fun!!! (Just for a little while of course.)

Today is my birthday!! I was officially pink four years ago today, so to skip down memory lane a bit, I thought I'd do a model spotlight on my favorite new model of the season, Charlotte Free. She is 18 and was discovered in an arcade here in LA?! Insane, right? I love that all the designers have accepted her punky look. She has certainly given the runway shows a "splash of color" this year. I live for it! Just for fun, I'll show you guys some old snaps of myself when I was pink. For those of you who know me best, know that I will try any color, but will NEVER trim my crazy long locks!  Enjoy the nostalgia on this special birthday post.

Hope you're all well darlings!!! Much love to all of our readers!! We appreciate every single one of you gorgeous loves!

So ridiculously gorgeous!!! I think her color is perfection here. Not too faded.
I actually am obsessed that her IMG polaroids are overexposed. What a bad ass.
She looks like Sasha here.
I want that fuzzy burly jacket. Bahahaha.
Ohhhh, those blue eyes!!
Charlotte's one and only editorial so far! Featured in Interview this month alongside Sasha.
Me with pink and deep red hair. I miss it! Ah, love the blunt bangs too.

Designer Spotlight: Thom Dolan

Although I am not the biggest prepster, I do love a great polo shirt and a pair of high waisted trousers every so often. Especially this upcoming spring, as designers such as Philip Lim and Band of Outsiders sent their models down the runway in fitted blazers, boxy shorts, and collared blouses galore. Well it's time to make room for someone new on the prep scene and her name is Thomasine Dolan. Although many of her pieces I could never see myself wearing, there are definitely quite a few that I would throw on immediately! Ranging from eyelet bikini tops to plaid shirts shown with ascots, Dolan's collection is almost reminiscent of the clothes Hayley Mills would have worn in the original version of The Parent Trap. Love it. So wish I lived in that era sometimes... Anyways, check out some of my favorite looks from Thom Dolan's spring 2011 collection below! XO, Liza

Love this all, head to toe.
This is just all too fabulous. Those bloomers are amazing.
Adore the bandeau bikini top with the open plaid shirt. So sexy and cool.
Kind of need this for the summer!
Love the pop of the hot pink against a typical old plaid.

Shoot of the Day: Lindsey Wixson & Hailey Clauson for Vogue China

I just came across this amazing editorial from Vogue China and immediately had to throw it up here on the blog to share it with you all. Lindsey and Hailey could not look more adorable. Photographer Willy Vanderperre captures the girls donning some of my favorite pieces from Marni, Proenza Schouler, and Jil Sander. Nicoletta Santoro's styling is spot on in a youthful way to play dress up with this year's fabulous garbs for spring. Drool, drool, drool. I sort of just wanted to cry when I flipped through it all! Everything from the hair, the make-up, to the adorable little socks they wear... I honestly think that this shoot is perfection in reference to how I want to be dressing for spring! I am so inspired! Fabulous skirts and knee socks... here I come!!! Happy Friday guys! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

X. Jewls

This blouse? Are you kidding me? I would kill for...
The socks and those shoes are utter perfection. Especially on the right. I think I could manage to skate board in those!
OK, guys. This is my favorite look from the shoot. Can we talk about it please? I seriously need to commiserate over this one. Agh! The blouse and that skirt is the most perfectly executed combination of innocent and sexy if I've ever seen it! And the buttons?! Ohhhhhh.
The socks and shoes from Prada mixed in here are killer. All the colors thrown in together is the most beautiful clash ever! I am also loving the little juvenile ponytails. Ha!
Liza would kill this dress. She would even take the bear. I could totally see her wearing this. I love how Nicoletta has paired the little knickers underneath as well. Again, the youthful look is really fun to play around with. You could pair it with opaque tights and a tall pump for night time and completely transform this look too! So versatile!
My second favorite. The texture of this skirt is literally to die for. The cardigan is hands down one of the most beautiful I have seen in a long time! The collar is just stunning. So elegant.
Crisp white collared shirt, check. Floral poofy skirt, check. Purple knee high socks, check. Stick straight blond high ponytail with a bow, check. I have all of these!!! Ha, I will fooooor suuuuure be emulating this look immediately.

Item of the Day: Chloe Cross Strap Ballet Flats

Well now that spring EVERYTHING is popping up on all our favorite sites, I couldn't help but scream outloud when I saw these Chloe flats the other day on Barneys.com. I instantly texted my sister and said, "Pointe shoe ballet flats on Barneys. NEED now." Yes, I never thought I would actually be wanting to wear pointe shoes as real shoes, as I have boxes and boxes full of dead and beat up ones from my ballerina years in my closet... Oh and did I mention they are horribly excruciating after dancing on your toes for hours on end? Well, these ARE different... kind of. Hahahaha. No, they are stunning and I need them on my feet now. How sweet would they look with a little sundress or a cute tee and shorts? So different from the typical Lanvin or Repetto ballet flat. Ahhh well, I guess my wish list for the upcoming season has officially begun. XO, Liza

Outfit Post: Courtyard Dinner in Beverly Hills

Bar Bouchon is a gorgeous spot in Beverly Hills that my sister and I have become obsessed with. Tuna tartare with quail egg? Yes, please. We invited about seven friends, grabbed a private table out on the terrace by the lawn, snuggled up under a heat lamp, and ate to our hearts content. Halfway through dinner, John and I received a text from our best friend Clint demanding us to drive up into the hills to hang out with him immediately. So as usual, I ended the night up at his place with eight gorgeous boys around the fire swapping stories and tales from their past over drinks and pizza. Not a bad Friday night. Actually it was just what the doctor ordered. Ah, if only my Lize was here, life would be complete!  I am off now for brunch and shopping with my man. Happy Saturday loves.
