Can't Get You Out of My Head

Sadly, I can't get these few fabulous items out of my head. Why oh why.... I love spring time fashion, but it is all way too tempting. XO, Liza

Opening Ceremony Layered Skort- the skort is back and oh so cute! I can't stand how adorable this is. Want this right now.

Limi Feu Headpiece- just like the Givenchy one and much cheaper! Too bad it is sold out. Typical.

Karen Walker Righteous Sunglasses- Sold out too! What is going on? Jewls posted these a while back on her Karen Walker sunglasses post. We would be very happy girls if we could get our hands on these NOW.

Chanel Spring 2010 Tights- Really... no words. If only they weren't $250! Sad.

Bodkin Bustier- loving the bustier with high waisted shorts or a blazer. Super cute.

Shades of Grey

It seems as if practically every item I am lusting over at the moment is grey! From an easy throw on dress to a pair of funky wedges, grey is most definitely one of THE colors for the upcoming spring season. Here are a few of my faves. XO, Liza

Alexander Wang Chiffon Lingerie Sweatshirt Dress- Would love to get my hands on this little dress. Perfect with an American Apparel black bandeau bra underneath or the Alexander Wang v-front bra I pre-ordered on Saks!

Sacai Pullover Sweatshirt Dress- This would especially look cute with a pair of jellies or some beat up Vans.

Jeffrey Campbell Mary Roks Perforated Wedges- I just got these last week and I love em so! Not only are they comfortable, but they are quite easy to walk in... and at a little over 100 bucks? What a steal.

Karen Walker Fall Out Ruffle Dress- Love this new dress that popped up on Creatures of Comfort's site. Karen Walker's collection this season is just great.

L' Agence Sleeveless Hoodie- Not getting sick of the sporty look yet. Not to mention I love this line. Check out the rest of L' Agence's items on Ronherman.com!

Sonia Rykiel Canvas Studded Flap Bag- A messenger bag with studs and a sweet little bow? I am sold.

Jewelry Designer Spotlight: Lizzie Fortunato Jewels

Growing up sewing and designing, Elizabeth Fortunato first caught people's eyes with her jewelry on her college campus. Her sister, Kathryn began to market the line and soon enough, the girls were off in NYC and Lizzie Fortunato Jewels was born! Featured everywhere from Elle Magazine to Women's Wear Daily, the collection is made up of colorful necklaces and bracelets. Whether they are handwoven with thread and gold or adorned with silk covered ropes, you can't deny this line is awesome. I am particularly fond of the Small Fortune Nomad Bracelet. Perfect for the upcoming summer. Oh and did I forget to mention Elizabeth designed a lower priced line, Hope Marian, for Urban Outfitters as well? Love! XO, Liza

Small Fortune Nomad Bracelet- Want this so bad!!!

Opulent Memories Necklace- This would look fabulous with just a tank or a white dress.

Small Fortune Vagabond Bracelet- Great for everyday.

Lightning Field 1977 Necklace-Truly beautiful.

Hope Marian by Lizzie Fortunato Jewels Bracelet- I read this Urban Outfitter's exclusive sells out fast! At only 28 bucks, I can see why. It is so cute!

The Evolution of the Givenchy Jelly Sandal

Ah the Givenchy jellies... such a summer staple these babies are. I have the 2008 ones and they are literally falling apart. I think it's time for some new ones? I have some time. Weather has been beautiful these past few days, but snow maybe this weekend? No need for sandals just yet. XO, Liza

MKA at the Elle Style Awards

This Christian Lacroix gown of Ashley's was gorgeous. The blue strip coming down the back is so unpredictable, strange, and stunning at the same time! It did swallow her a little bit, but it is a GORGEOUS piece. And of course MK is in LANVIN.... can never go wrong. I am loving all the sheer trains that are popping up everywhere. Hmmmm... wedding gown idea. Also, this red fur hurts my feelings! I need it on my body NOW! Ahhh. Home from Chicago... back in LA and missing my Lize so bad. Back to the real world now with work tomorrow. Blegh! If only I had this Lacroix gown to make me feel better.

Liza's Best and Worst of the Academy Awards

The Academy Awards were not very exciting this past Sunday, but of course I had to tune in to see what everyone was wearing! Nothing that spectacular... I definitely preferred the Golden Globes dresses this year over these ones. Here are my picks though for best and worst dressed. Enjoy! XO, Liza

Best Dressed

Sarah Jessica Parker in Chanel- Only SJP could pull off this dress, as it is definitely not everyone's cup of tea. I personally think it's beautiful on her. She has always been such a fashion icon to all women. I love how she is never afraid to wear something out of the box.

Diane Kruger in Chanel- Stunning! This dress is my favorite of the bunch. Diane is ALWAYS in Chanel, but she wears it beautifully.

Demi Moore in Atelier Versace- As I am usually not the biggest Versace fan, I did love this one. The color works on her slightly tan skin and I love how the bodice is perfectly fitted. Gorgeous.

Carey Mulligan in Prada- Although this dress isn't as special as SJP's or Diane's, it is still very very pretty. She pulls it off well with her pixie cut and long diamond earrings.

Worst Dressed

Jennifer Lopez in Armani Prive- Ugh! This is just terrible. It makes her hips look insanely huge and that thing coming out of the side? What is that? Hate it.

Tina Fey in Michael Kors- Tina, Tina, Tina. Why do you always disappoint in fashion? This does not work at all. I feel she never picks the right dress. Ah man....

Zoe Saldana in Givenchy- Well, I always always love anything Givenchy, but this... I do NOT! Ugh! The top is gorgeous, but then you scroll to the bottom and it's like a mariachi skirt or something? Way too much. Hate all the different shades of purple too.

Charlize Theron in John Galliano by Dior- Aw geez. This dress really would have been pretty... WITHOUT the cinnabons for boobs!!! Galliano either is great or just plain ridiculous. This is ridiculous.

Giambattista Valli Kills it at Paris Fashion Week

Alright... I am on the verge of weeping. I have never seen a collection that has literally almost knocked me dead. This is taking it to a whole new level. This just posted on Style.com... I got home from work and opened up my computer and my jaw hit the floor. What I wouldn't give to own every one of these looks... Get ready cause it's a lot!!!

X. Jewls

Seriously?!?! If this was white, I would consider making it my wedding dress! Stunning!!

So original.

Quite possibly my favorite. As if I could even chose.

Agh!

AMAZING.

The most perfect black dress ever created.

Ummm... what is going on? These belong on my face.

Adorable. Very Twiggy.

Also a favorite. I must own this.

Sexy Star Trek coat. Hahaha.

I literally cannot get enough.
