Outfit Post: Date Night with Lize

Last night in Chicago... Lize and I decided to go have a fancy dinner together and split a bottle of Pinot. Obviously. After some laughs and some crying, we came home to dance around like morons. We live for it. We'll miss each other but I am going to have to fly her to LA really soon.

Outfit Post: Last Day in Chicago

It's officially my last day in Chicago. I fly back to LA tomorrow night. Sad, although at least I get to meet John at the airport from his connection from Nashville. It's been a fun three days... I'm pretty sure we packed all of our shopping stops in. Would have liked to have jumped into Silver Moon for some good vintage finds, but Liza and I have vowed to keep our wallets tight. At least for a minute! Back home to nap, watch a movie, and snuggle. Then off to Feast restaurant for a nice date together. Quick brunch in the morning and then I'm off. Back to some normal weather! Agh, although I really do miss having loads of fabulous coats. My new rabbit fur jacket won't have much of a purpose at home, but at least I can rub him. Ha!

Outfit Post: Shopping at Bonnie and Clyde

Lize and I had to make our usual pit stops today. Ikram to shop and Tempo for brunch. Delicious. Being depressed after seeing all the incredible Rick Owens and Comme Des Garcons, we stopped at Bonnie and Clyde in Wicker Park and I snatched up my Obesity and Speed tee I have been wanting to make myself feel better. Also bought an adorable massive mens Horace tee that is as big as a sleeping bag. Liza grabbed some hot Kaylee Tankus metallic leggings. Darling. Just had manicures and pedicures and now it's time for a nap and some re-runs of The Simple Life... Then off to Rodan for Lychee Royales. Life is good when the two of us are together.

Outfit Post: In Chicago with Liza!

Okay, so I rented a car for the day to be able to drive all the way down to Chicago from Grand Rapids, MI... I say all the way it took me like two hours. Loved the road trip though. Nothing better than driving in a snow blizzard with an americano and some great music. No seriously, I live for it. Anyway, I got here and Lize and I both took my 12 bags up to her apartment... and busted straight to Intermix and Barney's. Sale sale sale, but nothing we lived for. The checking accounts are safe at the end of this day at least! We then shlepped to Blockbuster and cried all the way there because the wind is so wicked here. We rented True Blood, got popcorn and nuclear gummy sqorms, and we are set. We came home and I popped in the bath to thaw out my little weak LA body threw thermals on, and got all wrapped up in bed. Here we are... blogging, eating my mother's homemade chex mix, drinking champagne in bed, and waiting for our pizza to be delivered. The vacation with my Lize begins in our hometown! Watch out... we might get a little nuts with the photo posts!

Favorite Photographer: Terry Richardson

Provocative, crazy, and very sexy, Terry Richardson's photographs are always recognizable and distinctive. He's got his own style, whether you may think it's a tad raunchy or not... I love it. Here are some fabulous photos of his. I chose the more PG rated ones, as the majority of his work involves nudity. Enjoy! XO, Liza

Terry Richardson himself.

Gorgeous Lily Donaldson!

So Bridget Bardot...

Wendy Nichol Bags

Too bad these babies aren't part of the mass sales online EVERYWHERE. Ugh, they depress me. I came across these fabulous bags though on Creatures of Comfort's online store a bit ago and had to share them!  I love the braided backpack, as I have been looking for a leather one to use for school (Sadly, I never purchased the Wang one from last year and still deeply regret it). The little medicine bag is adorable too. I wonder how tiny it really is in person? Hmmm.... XO, Liza

Outfit Post: Christmas Night Dinner

My mother's neighbors are incredible artists and practically gourmet chefs! I always love their dinner parties, so I decided to look festive for the event. Even though it's like two degrees in Michigan... I still had to whip out a skirt.
