Dream Outfit: "I'm Headed to Vegas, Baby"

Hey lovers. So, this Saturday my other best friend, Christina, is poppin' into LA to see me! Wahoo! Then the following Thursday we are road tripping to Vegas for the weekend with our boy toys! Getting excited to go, I decided to peruse around some of my favorite websites for outfit ideas. It's going to be blazing hot there, but that's no excuse for me to not look totally unreal, right? I conjured up my dream outfit below. Tell me what you guys think. You all approve? The Lanvin snake tie wedges hurt my soul. They have been my obsession for months now. I think I would need to sell a kidney to get those. If it's the last thing I do though, I will be owning those Row sunglasses in the very near future. They are SICK! Oh yeah, and how hot would the Lover bikini look under this outfit? It looks like lingerie! The detail on that little baby is absolutely stunning! Might have to order that real quick before I roll outta town. Hope you're all having a lovely week! Kisses!

Jewls What to Wear Valentine's Day Guide

So to finish out our Valentine's Day Guide deliciousness, I have decided to inspire you girlies with three drastically different V-day looks. One for three totally different girls. Now as far as I go, I could totally rock all three of these any day of the week, but I am all over the map like that with my fashion taste!!!  Check out my three looks below as I guide you through each ensemble that I have created for each girl!  Hopefully this will help inspire you towards the perfect V-day ensemble while you are shopping this weekend! Mwa! ;)

X. Jewls

For my Experimental Fashionista Vday Girl:

First, I created an ensemble that is for our whimsical, free spirited, fashion forward girl. A girl who takes risks, but still likes to keep it tasteful and a tad feminine. I for one, am in the mood for this particular get up this Valentine's Day. Chiffon Maxi Skirts and Chloe's new Mary Janes are totally suiting my mood right now! Also, the Proenza necklace (gasp), the Emptyeyes bracelet, and the two crystal ring sets are literally muuuuurdering me. I really enjoy this outfit too because you will look so unbelievably chic and unique next to every other girl in a typical cheap looking red cocktail dress (Yawn! Sigh. Predictable. Boooring.)  So I vote for this one. ;)

For My Sweet Fashionista Vday Girl:

Secondly, I created a conservative sweet girl look. This is for the girl that has herself together, knows how to dress, and draw attention to herself without needing to go over the top. I imagine a girl with loads of confidence and a quiet swagger wearing this ensemble. I had to throw this look in the bunch because I toooootally have those days where I want to dress super cute and innocent and how much more "come hither" can this dress get? So covering and sensual at the same time! I love it! It is very old school elegant, yet modern and fun with the bow and the bubble hem. Carven makes the most incredible pieces, I swear. I picked through a bunch at Barney's last week and was just drooling. The Nicholas Kirkwood pumps were just too spot on not to toss in and they strangely belong with this dress! This girl would have to be pretty self assured to rock these printed pumps as they are definitely a statement. Oh wait! Can we talk about the Damaris Bra real quick??? It is a halter that crosses in the front!!! Beyond different and so sexy on! It is the perfect little surprise since this dress has a high neck. Adore!  ;)

For My Anti-Love Fashionista Vday Girl:

Lastly, I created this ensemble for the girl who wants to say to everyone on Valentines Day: "I'm hot, I'm single, I'm alone and love it. I have no obligation to anyone and yeah go ahead and stare at me cause my outfit is SICK!"  I have for suuuuure had those V-days and this outfit was not far off from the look I was rocking! You have to kind of respect those girls and love that they can express themselves through this kind of style. Hell, I still dress like this 70% of the time and am engaged now, so what does that say? Bahaha! I will never give up my crazy leather pants and my ridiculously cropped crop tops!!! Nothing is more fun and rebellious then throwing them on and sticking out like a sore thumb! Who wants to blend in anyway? I am obsessed with every part of this outfit. Everything from The Bullet Paneled Leggings, the Pamela Love Rings, the kick ass Robert Clergerie Wedges to the Venessa Arizaga Bracelets. Just slay me!!! Through the accessories in this outfit, you can still read that this girl is warm at heart, playful, open, and not just completely goth. That's the best part! This look is mysterious, but still approachable while attracting a strong confident guy that will let you be who you want! That's what I ended up with and I live for it! ;)

Lord Licorice's Wife

Even though spring is beginning to trickle into stores and it is 85 degrees here in LA... I am having to remind myself that it is STILL winter?! I am not quite ready to be wearing pastels and florals yet, as I am still enjoying the dark winter layering that I so look forward to all year!! So in an ode to my perfect mash up of LA winter wonderland in 85 degree weather, here is my perfect post holiday/run around get up!

Ensemble run down: A sleeveless tuxedo jacket? Uhhhh, yes... I am all over that. I may need to go scoop that little Margiela baby up and splurge when Lize and I go ballistic shopping this week. ;) I am adoring this Millefili bib chain necklace against the shredded Raquel top and I really might need this new red Jerome bag. For those of you who are not familiar with Jerome Dreyfuss bags... Oh My Lord... So so so soft like butter. They are stunning and not so label-y which is beyond refreshing!!  These new Acne Hyrdo Wedges are obviously an incredible basic as you can throw em on with anything and The Row glasses are nice and light for those overcast days when you still want to remain a bit incognito. I know I always do! ;)

Liza's Christmas Outfit for LA

Again, I also threw this together in five minutes! That's how it's done in real life too. Our best ensembles are always the ones we throw together half asleep, not paying attention and NEVER EVER premeditated. Our mantra is to always be effortless and if a decision on what to wear is taking too long... start over from scratch and stop thinking about it! Lize and I are so sad that we can't be together and snuggling with eggnog watching old terrible movies over the holidays, but she will be here in LA in January!!! So until then, we have created fantasy outfits for each other for fun. I snatched this Julien Macdonald Lace Chiffon dress for Lize. Ohhhh my little ballerina. This would be killer. I love you and miss you!

Juliana's Christmas Outfit for Chicago

Ha! Ok, I literally just made this outfit in four minutes. It came to me though and if I were a bazillionaire, I would send this to Juliana so she could wear it on her way to Chicago! I am kind of beyond obsessed with this Rick Owens fur hooded coat, as well as the Proenza Schouler bag... that pop of teal against all the black is killer. Check it out below! XO, Liza

If I Were in LA...

So Jewls and I were talking the other day and well... it is definitely time for me to make a trip out to LA to visit. It has been almost two years since I have been and I do kind of miss the city, but I especially miss Juliana! Therefore, I made up an outfit I would wear there during the day lunching and shopping around with my best friend. Threw in a trusty pair of Lanvins, killer Karen Walker shades, and some amaaazing jewelry to top it off. :) XO, Liza

My Runaway to Europe Outfit.

I am craving some travel and I am super inspired by everything that is coming out for fall. I'm so ready to just buy a whole new wardrobe, pack up, and bust. I miss layering, I miss autumn, and I miss seasons in general. Time to plan a trip with my Lize. :) I think I am in a dreamy mood today. Ah well, I guess that is a good thing. Hope you are all having a great Friday! X. Jewls

LANVIN T-Shirt Dress

I am beyond obsessed with the simplicity of this Lanvin T-Shirt Dress. Alber Elbaz kills it every time. I swear he is an alien. The Balmain aviators are bad ass too. Simple, yet totally effective. I have a feeling they are about to get reaaaally played out everywhere, but for now I have a big crush. As for everything else, I would like to load on a bunch of gold accessories with the white dress and go with my staple Chanel nail colour. Easy and clean. Now onto our handbag and shoes. I am loooooooving Marni's new muted pink handbag that just popped up. $1400... I might need it. Miu is killing 60's mod this season as we are all aware of and these shoes are beyond darling and innocent looking... but then the sky high heel gives it that modern day edge. I'm definitely into it. Miu Miu is the front runner for me this season second to Balenciaga. Without a doubt. Well I'm off to bed early with John and the kittens. Hope you are all having a great Saturday!

Ready to Pop on a Flight to Cabo

Ahh, a girl can dream of being on a beach during an otherwise dull Monday morning, right? Ok, so with that being said... I am definitely planning a summer vacay to Mexico with John. Now all I need is to convice Lize and Angel to come too. I need a breather from LA soooo bad! This is about how I'd look and I really do take that many maggies with me.
